Happy holidays everyone! It is a pleasure to write my first blog and to start what I hope is a regular dialog with everyone interested in the local and national entertainment and modeling scene.
The holidays are a time for family, reflection and to reunite with old friends. For Thanksgiving the Starbound family had the privilege to see one of our most famous alumni, Alyson Stoner. Alyson came back to her hometown to be the Grand Marshal in the Toledo Holiday weekend parade. And she was amazing!
Hopefully you've had the pleasure to be entertained by Alyson at some point or another. She started her career dancing in some Missy Elliot videos. From there she has made numerous television and movie appearances including Mike's Super Short Show, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Disney's Camp Rock.
Alyson is an amazing public speaker and poised beyond her 15 years of age. She is truly a great public speaker and even with all of her success has remained very grounded and accessible to her fans.
Alyson rode the Starbound/Faces float in the parade and made it a special day for everyone. She is just another reason I am proud of the work we do at Starbound and of the amazing talent we have throughout the Toledo, Detroit and Ann Arbor communities.
