At the young age of sixteen, Tatiana Owens already possesses a stage presence beyond her years. She is the three-time winner of the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) “Best Singer” competition in Los Angeles and New York City. In 2008, Tatiana performed her track “Thru” to a standing ovation of over five thousand fans at the final day of the IMTA competition in New York City. She is also a regular at mid-western jazz festivals, including the Tatum O'Neil Jazz Festival and the Old West End Festival. Her regional stage credits include “Rent,” "Hot Mikado," "42nd Street" and "Annie." Having already performed live for tens of thousands of people, audiences walk away wowed from Tatiana’s amazing vocals, dancing ability and on-stage presence. As The Blade newspaper of Toledo, Ohio stated, "…when the Star-Spangled Banner is played before a basketball game or other sporting event, some people stand silent. They know the singer cannot handle Francis Scott Key’s melody. Not so with Tatiana Owens, whose voice bursts in the air like tiny rockets, exploding with energy and emotion…”
To her parents, Tatiana seemed to start signing from the moment she was born. As they tell it, "Tatiana would sing from the time she woke up until she fell asleep at night." At the age of three, Tatiana sang to over 2,000 people at a major Ohio church event. As her parents recount the story, “Tatiana showed signs of stage fright right before going on, but once she got on that stage her voice and performance quickly won the audience over.” Afterwards, members of the congregation told Tatiana, ”Her voice is a gift." Since that day, she has never looked back. Tatiana's performance abilities continued to grow when finally at the age of thirteen, she was discovered at a Toledo "Idol" contest by Wendi Davis of Starbound NYC. Fast-forward two years and Wendi has arranged a showcase for Tatiana in New York City. In attendance at the showcase is Tom Bradley of TC Music who invites Tatiana and Wendi to return to New York City that summer to meet Concett Bradley and Juano “Vaughn” Creary the other members of the TC Music/Got Dis Entertainment team. It is at the summer meeting in New York City that Tatiana signed on with the management team of Got Dis Entertainment/StarboundNYC.
Tatiana’s current schedule consists of traveling from Ohio to New York City to work with such writers/producers as Jamelle Jones (Destiny’s Child), Arizona Slim (Ashanti, Rick Ross), Co-Stars (JoJo, Brooke Valentine) and O’Shea (50 Cent). In addition, she is performing at various talent shows, concerts and regional sporting events as well as attending the Toledo, Ohio School for the Arts.
